Project overview
Bupa Global is the international health insurance division of Bupa. They provide customers with premium international coverage with products and services to access the healthcare they need anytime, anywhere in the world. This project involved creating a native app that allows customers to manage their plans, check their benefit information, submit and track their claims and view and download policy documents.
I was the sole UX/UI Lead on the project. I led the UX/UI design of the app, working closely with a product manager and the agencies Clear Left and Infosys. We applied MVP principles to the product design and prioritised features for each sprint. There was a mix of internal and remote workshops. For the remote workshops we used Miro and Figma.
We worked within an agile environment and during technical build there was a close working relationship with the key stakeholders and technology teams. I was involved in all levels of product design and development from research to implementation. This was a key role for driving change in Bupas digital products by introducing design thinking and human centered design to the business.
