Shareowner online
Project overview
Equiniti is a leading specialist in technology, finance and administrative services in complex or regulated markets. This project involved creating a responsive web application that allows customers to manage an online portfolio of share accounts on any device, buy or sell shares or find market information about companies. It also enables secure messaging and notifications between companies and shareholders.
I was the sole UX/UI Lead on the project. I built a team of UI designers and UX researchers that included a mix of permanent staff and contractors. I introduced design thinking to the business, established a user centred design process and lead the production of a design system. There was a discovery phase that included stakeholder interviews, competitor reviews, Information architecture workshops, personas, co-designed prototypes and user testing and evaluation. This was the first product that used that design system.
We worked within an agile environment and during technical build there was a close working relationship with the key stakeholders and technology teams. I was involved in all levels of product design and development from research to implementation in a key role for driving change in Equiniti’s digital products that included B2C and B2B applications across web and native app platforms.
